Dagwood Sandwich

Ingredients

whole grain bread
6 0z. sliced turkey
sliced swiss cheese
sliced cheddar cheese
iceburg lettuce
tomatoes
olives
mustard
light mayo
pickled relish
cucumber Step1

combine mustard, light mayo and pickled relish in a bowl.

spread across whole grain bread (cover whole slice on one side)sandwich steps

 

Pile on the cheese, turkey, lettuce, tomatoes and olives.
Top with another piece of whole grain bread that has been prepped with the spread. Garnish with cucumbers and olives. The Dagwood Sandwich has been an iconic sandwich and has been made for decades after it was introduced by Chic Young in the Blondie comic strip series.
