Not many people today can say that they have been on a Mississippi style river boat. Wouldn’t you like to join that club that can say they have been on one? Join the ranks of people which include Kenny Rogers and Boy George and hop a ride on the Desert  Princess.

The Desert Princess offers you the experience you are looking for with an option for a meal as well! While you’re there at Lake Mead make it a day and shop around for some other things to do. Lake Mead has a plethora of options looking for things to do. Keep in mind you must purchase your tickets in advance and arrive at least fifteen minutes before departure, Bon Voyage!

If you are looking for something more casual, Sonic maybe your answer. This fast food joint hasn’t changed much since its inception. Enjoy meals on wheels as you order from your car on the intercom just

like in the 1950’s when drive up restaurants were a big part of the transportation

culture. Then have your server rollerblade or roller-skate your order over to you. The menu has stayed the same yet expanded with different variations of what you want, like hot dogs, burgers, shakes and slushies’ All of the menu is traditional American fast food. The prices are affordable so drive (or walk) on down to your nearest Sonic.

Fans of the film “Easy Rider” or just avid Harley Davidson fans can get a quick bite to eat, all while getting their motorcycle fix satisfied. At first glance of the café, you can see an obscenely large motorcycle breaking-out of the front of the café. Then once you are inside you are greeted with an amazing Guinness World Record, the record for world’s heaviest flag! On display is an American flag designed and created entirely out of metal chains weighing in at nearly

10 tons and consisting of 44,000 chains. The café serves up good old fashioned American comfort food such as mac n’ cheese, pulled pork sandwiches, and all different kinds of Barbeque. While chowing

down on some juicy tangy ribs and sipping on some sweet tea take some time to look

up and all around at the revolving collection of Harley Davidson motorcycles on display.

Located on the glitzy Las Vegas Strip, this big accommodating cafe would make a fun

luncheon for a single person or a group.
