By Michelle Frese and Dana Caenan

Are you looking for a fun and enjoying movie that’s good for the whole family? Circles heard that they are making a sequel to Independence Day so we decided to watch the original again and tell you what we think about it.

Independence Day

Produced By: Twentieth Century Foxind-day-poster
Type of Movie: Sci-Fi/ Fantasy
Year made: 1996
Rating:  PG-13

Who’s in it?

Will Smith, Vivica Fox, Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, Randy Quaid, Mary McDonnell

What is it about?

An alien space craft invades planet earth and begins destroying major cities. A U.S. President, U.S. Air Force Pilot, and a computer whiz work together to stop the alien invasion. It is about fighting for your country and your family.

What did we like about it?

We liked the happy ending, that the invaders were destroyed, and how everyone came together to save the planet. We also really like the special effects and the FA 18 Hornets.

What didn’t we like?

We didn’t like that the president’s wife died because it was really sad. We also didn’t like some of the scenes with the aliens because they caught us off guard and scared us.

See it or skip it? Circles thinks you should definitely see it.thumbsup

I have heard it’s going to be 20 years later. And the invaders have received a message from the ones we defeated. Will Smith’s character’s son has followed his dad in the the service as a pilot. Really hope has a better plot line, like you did not like the death of the President’s wife.
