Communities in Schools is an organization consisted of the Clark County School District (CCSD) and the Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). Right now, they have this project called Project Reach which stands for Raising Educational Attainment within Community Housing. It’s open to students, who need a safe place to do their homework, as well as tutoring, mentoring, and career exploration which are provided by all three groups. You can find the three groups in the SNRHA housing complexes. It helps all the students who are in these complexes. The Yolanda McKinney Adams Center is for academic excellence. It can be found in the Archie Grant Complex. It is open to the Rancho High School students. The Marble Manor Center helps students from both Canyon Springs High School and Kit Carson Elementary School achieve their scholastic goals.
