Issue #10 – Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

There are many different things that give us
potpiecomfort. Food is one of those things,
and we all love food. Nothing beats
a grilled cheese sandwich with
tomato soup, a nice juicy
cheeseburger with all the
trimmings, or a chicken
stuffed pot pie fresh out of
the oven. Circles Magazine
found a quick and easy
pot pie recipe that is sure
to warm you up.

 

Ingredients and Equipment:Ingredients and equipment
1 Can (18.6 oz.) Progresso Rich &
Hearty Chicken Pot Pie Style Soup
3/4 cup Green Giant Frozen Mixed
Vegetables
1 1/2 cups Tyson Grilled & Ready Fully
Cooked Chicken Breast Strips, cubed
1 sheet Pepperidge Farms Puff Pastry
cut into four pieces
of taste
Spray butter
Mixing bowl
Mixing spoon
Measuring cup
4 ramekins
Cutting board
Knife

 

Always wash your hands
before handling any food.

Step 1 smallerStep 1:
Empty can
of soup into
mixing bowl.

 

 

 

Step 2 smallerStep 2:
Add 3/4 cup
mixed vegetables
to soup.

 

 

 

Step 3 smallerStep 3:
Cut chicken
into cubes.

Add chicken
to soup and
vegetables
and stir.

Microwave for
5 minutes or until
it begins to boil
(stir at least once).

Spray inside ramekins
with butter.

Gently stretch
pastry sheets over
ramekins and press
into the bottom
and up the sides.

Pour soup mixture
into pastry.

Fold excess pastry
over soup mixture.

 

 

 

 

Step 10 smallerStep 10:
Place ramekins in
oven pre-heated to
375 degrees.
Cook for approx.
25 minutes.

 

 

Step 11 smallerStep 11:
Let cool for
5 minutes
