We were so inspired by all the great food at the Food Truck Festival that we wanted to try our
hand at our own individual pizza recipe! This is an easy pizza to make and it can be made the
way YOU like it with some modifications! You can have it for a snack or a meal and add any
toppings that you like to make it truly personal. Makes 1 personal pizza.

 

 

 

 

 

 

List of ingredients and equipment

Toaster oven

Baking sheet

Measuring Cup

Wooden spoon

1 pita (your favorite variety)

1/3 cup of pizza sauce

½ cup of Mozzarella cheese (Shredded)

1 tbsp. sliced black olives

1 tbsp. slice mushrooms

Sliced pepperoni

 

 

Always wash your hands before handling any food.

 

 

 

 

Step 1: Place the pita flat side down on a baking sheet.

 

 

Step 2: Place 1/3 cup of pizza sauce on the pita.

 

 


 

 

 

Step 3: Spread sauce to the edges of the pita with the back of the spoon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the sauce.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5: Place pepperoni, olives, and mushrooms on top of the cheese.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 6: Place the pizza in the toaster oven on the baking rack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 7: Cook for approximately 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.

 

 

 

 

 

Step 8: Remove baking pan carefully using an oven mitt. Caution,the pan will be very hot. Allow to cool before slicing and eating.If safety is a concern with the use of knives, you may opt to purchase olives already cut in half, onions pre-chopped ( can be found in the produce section of most grocery stores), leave out the cucumbers, and leave the tomatoes whole. Always ask for assistance if you are not comfortable using a knife on your own.
