Issue #4 – Letter from the Editor

Juxtapose.

To compare 2 things side by side.

It’s one of my favorite words,

and has become one of the

favorites by the Circles team

after this issue! We are all about

comparing all the great things

in Vegas, and bringing in some of

what can be found in other places

around the country, and around the

world. We call this issue “Home and Away”,

and we can’t wait to share it with you! Here at home, we have

explored places from Fremont to Primm, even taking one of our

contributors on her very first (and second, and third!) rollercoaster

thrill ride. The world can look very large from a seat on your couch

or patio chair, but you’ll find that it really is open and accessible

to everyone. I can’t say enough about how fun it is when you get

out and explore, even those things that are in your back yard…or

“courtyard”, as the King at the Tournament of Kings show might

prefer to say. Hollywood is a mere hop, skip, and jump, but is it

really as cool as you think it might be? You’ll only know if you get

out and see for yourself! How about a jungle vacation? Maybe

a mini stay-cation that involves eating and shouting “VOLCANO”

could be just enough to satisfy your craving for that next big

adventure. Maybe you’re sitting on a plane waiting for take-off, or

lying on a tropical beach right now! If you are, you couldn’t have

picked better reading material. You could say we’ve been busy over

the last 3 months, and that would be an understatement. We’ve

loaded on the miles, talked to a multitude of interesting people,

and even set up shop in the amazing El Cortez Cabana Suites for a

day of vacation fashion exploration. There is so much just in Vegas

to see, taste, hear, and do…so you better get started! And we’ll

even help guide you with a true Las Vegas style scavenger hunt

(complete with prize opportunity just for sending us your photos!).

We can’t wait to see what you find!

See you around,
